The Kestrel RT-1000 Shimano 105 is high performance road bike that is comfortable to ride thanks to a more upright frame geometry design that greatly reduces stress and pressure on your arms and shoulders, especially during long rides. The RT 1000 is not only comfortable, but is most importantly a sleek, fast and very responsive high performance machine.
The frame is crafted out of Kestrel's legendary 800K Carbon Fiber for an ultra light-weight and responsive foundation that is matched with a Kestrel carbon fork. The frame is custom tuned to be ultra stiff in the head tube and bottom bracket regions while remaining very comfortable by absorbing shock in the fork and rear stays.
Equipped with a full Shimano 105 groupo, the RT-1000 with shift flawlessly through all 20 gears. The wheels, saddle, brake set, handlebars and stem are all high quality Oval Concepts. A Kestrel Aero Carbon seatpost, internally routed cables and the aerodynamic frame will all reduce drag for a faster and smoother ride.
All the Oval Concept parts were specifically designed for this bike, they match both visually and technically resulting in a bicycle that looks as good as it rides.
