The Alumina 3 bike rack is a brand new bike carrier that weights an extremely light 21 pounds and can carry up to three bikes, or 90 pounds. Softride crafted the Alumina out of aluminum, which is extremely lightweight. When the arms are removed, the base weighs only 10 pounds. The Alumina has SoftRide's original and patented Parallelogram Design, which allows for easy rear vehicle access. When you need to access the back of your vehicle, simply release the pin and the rack arms will remain parallel to the ground as you move them away from your vehicle, keeping your bikes in a safe vertical position.
